ERS Fellowships - Call open

Dear societies,

The ERS Short-Term Research and Clinical Training Fellowships April 2025 rounds are now open! Please feel free to spread the word through the appropriate channels within your society. Individuals must have an active ERS membership when applying.

The STRF programme provides early career researchers, clinicians, and allied health professionals with a unique opportunity to advance their careers in basic, translational, and clinical research.

The CTF programme supports early career healthcare professionals (HCP) through in-depth training at highly qualified institutions.

Both programmes are open to applicants of all nationalities and to those based both in Europe and overseas, although for the CTF programme the applicant’s host institution must be based in Europe.

Apply Now! The application deadline is Tuesday, 1 April 2025. All interested candidates must submit their applications before this date.

Plan ahead: A proposal with a mobility component needs involvement from both your home and host institutions. Ensure that you have sufficient time to discuss and negotiate all aspects of your application!

Spread the word! Promote the fellowship programmes throughout your network.
